Abstract

Vanne d'arrêt avec un corps dans lequel débouchent l'admission et l'évacuation coaxiale d'une conduite. L'obturation est réalisée par un ou plusieurs éléments de joint disposés entre la conduite ou le corps de vanne et un obturateur en forme de plaque pivotant ou coulissant dans le corps de vanne perpendiculaire au tracé de la conduite. Une chambre sous pression 29 avec un piston moteur 27, qui est relié à l'élément de joint 23, 25 maintenu en position d'étanchéité par des ressorts 43, est affectée à l'obturateur 8 en forme de plaque. Le sens du mouvement du piston 27, lorsqu'il est soumis à l'action du fluide sous pression, coïncide avec celui de l'élément de joint 23, 25 lorsque l'obturateur 8 est dégagé. Application aux conduites de grand diamètre, par exemple dans des installations nucléaires.
