Abstract
L'invention concerne un procédé et un appareil de traitement et de désinfection des eaux usées. Les eaux usées sont introduites dans une cuve d'oxygénation 20 puis dans une cuve de décantation et de clarification 42 dont l'effluent est envoyé dans une cuve d'ozonation 46 à la sortie de laquelle il est rejeté hors de l'usine de traitement par un conduit 58. Une partie importante du gaz de dégagement de la cuve d'ozonation est recyclée dans le générateur d'ozone 52 qui alimente la cuve d'ozonation, le reste du gaz de dégagement étant recyclé dans la cuve d'ozonation, le reste du gaz de dégagement étant recyclé dans la cuve d'oxydation 20 de sorte que tout gaspillage d'oxygène est évité et que la source de gaz enrichi (à 95 % d'oxygène) 24 n'a besoin de fournir qu'une quantité d'appoint d'oxygène au générateur 52 et à la cuve d'oxygénation 20. L'invention est applicable, notamment, aux installations de traitement des eaux ménagères.
