Abstract

Les propriétés d'électrodes, formées d'un support en métal-valve pourvu d'un revêtement électro-chimiquement actif, sont améliorées en soumettant le support, préalablement au dépôt du revêtement électro-chimiquement actif, à un traitement par l'hydrogène. Le procédé suivant l'invention permet d'obtenir des électrodes avec un potentiel pratiquement constant pendant des périodes prolongées, des surtensions du chlore et de l'oxygène plus réduites et avec une durée de vie nettement améliorée.
