Abstract
An alloy which is electrolytically cleaned (see Group XXXVI), and electroplated, e.g. with Cu, An or Ni, prior to sealing to a glass surface comprises (percentages by weight):-Cr 14 to 18 per cent, C 0.12 per cent, Mn 1.0 per cent, Si 1.0 per cent, S 0.03 per cent, P 0.04 per cent, Fe the remainder. Specification 815,571 is referred to.
