Abstract
The photocell panel (P) has photocells (1) encased in a transparent resin layer (2) between a glass plate (3) and a support (4). The resin layer (2) not only maintains the photocells (1) but also connection strips (5) which electrical connect the cells (1) in series parallel combinations. A corner of the support (4) is cut to expose a connection strip (5). Into the corner part (6) of the panel a detachable piece (7) is fixed. This piece (7) may be of transparent material. The detachable piece (7) carries electrically conducting elements (8). Each of these elements (8) forms the terminals of a relay. In these elements (8) is a tapped hole (9) into which terminal contacts (10) are screwed. Fixing of the detachable piece (7) onto the panel (P) is done by pressure application and resin adhesive. The pressure exerted on the piece (7) simultaneously creates the contact between the strip (5a) and the metallic element (8).
