Abstract

The lable strip is for use with an automatic labelling mechanism, and comprises a flexible support strip, to both of whose sides labels are secured with the aid of pressure sensitive adhesive. The surfaces of the strip can be coated with a layer of anti-adhesive material, and there can be a continuous layer of label material on both sides, the individual labels in them being formed by cut lines. The strip with labels can first be transported to a labelling mechanism station where those on one side are peeled off, and then to the same station for them to be removed from the other side.
