885,136. Laminates. KIENZLE APPARATE G.m.b.H. July 20, 1960 [July 24, 1959], No. 25298/60. Class 140. Record and like cards with a magnetic layer are made by applying magnetic material to a carrier layer, e.g. of cellulose acetate, polyvinyl chloride or a polyester, having adhesive on its reverse side, cutting the carrier into labels, and applying the labels to the cards in appropriate position. Alternatively, the labels may be applied in ordered arrangement to a carrier having a release surface, e.g. paper coated with a silicone resin, the carrier being cut into strips and rolled up for storage and the labels being transferred to the cards as required by a labelling device having a stripping edge over which the carrier strips are passed.
