Abstract

Structure comprenant au moins un corps creux entièrement submersible. Cette structure est caractérisée par le fait que le corps creux, en tant que tel, n'est pas suffisamment résistant pour pouvoir supporter, à l'état immergé, la pression extérieure de l'eau, et qu'il est prévu des moyens pour empêcher que le pont, les parois et le fond du corps creux ne s'effondrent. Utilisable comme semi-submersible, notamment pour des opérations en pleine mer, par exemple de pose de pipelines, de forage en mer et de levage de charges.
