L'invention prévoit que ce piston 1 soit constitué en une matière élastique et qu'il comporte une partie centrale d'épaisseur réduite de paroi susceptible de se déformer lorsque la pression qui s'exerce sur elle excède une valeur prédéterminée, ceci de manière à communiquer à la tige de piston 25 un excédent de course au-delà de la course correspondant à l'actionnement normal du piston. c. Application notamment à la réalisation de cylindres de freins combinés à air comprimé et à accumulation de force élastique.
