Abstract

L'invention se rapporte aux abrasifs. Elle concerne un article abrasif comprenant une matrice et des particules de charge noyées dans la matrice, caractérisé en ce que la matrice est constituée d'une matière polymère polyimide aromatique réticulée qui est une combinaison chimique réticulée de : a) une résine de base de masse moléculaire relativement élevée de polymère polyimide aromatique linéaire ayant au moins un groupe carbonyle cétonique par maille et une masse moléculaire comprise entre 3 000 et 300 000, et b) une résine réticulatrice, de masse moléculaire plus basse, de polymère polyimide aromatique linéaire ayant des groupes terminaux amine et une masse moléculaire comprise entre 500 et 15 000; le rapport molaire de la résine réticulatrice à la résine de base étant compris entre plus de 2 et 40. Les applications sont celles des articles abrasifs en général.
