Abstract

Ecran de tube cathodique à haute luminance et à couleur de trace réglable par la tension d'accélération du faisceau. L'écran est constitué de couches superposées 2 et 4, constituées de poudres de cristaux, 20 et 40, de deux luminophores présentant des fluorescences de couleurs différentes, séparées par une couche inerte 3 d'épaisseur sensiblement uniforme. Dans un exemple, les couches 2 et 4 sont faites du phosphore P1 (J.E.D.E.C.) vert ( lambda = 550 nm) et de vanadate d'yttrium activé à l'europium (rouge : lambda = 610 nm) à raison de 3 à 4 mg/cm**2 et 0,15 mg/cm**2 respectivement; la couche inerte 3, en sesquioxyde de silicium, Si2 O3 , est d'une épaisseur de 1,2 mu . On obtient des luminances élevées dans toute la gamme des couleurs obtenues pour des tensions de fonctionnement comprises entre 10 kV et 17 kV.
