Abstract

Lors de l'emploi des dispositifs de la troisième génération qui permettent la tomographie transversale, l'entière section corporelle à examiner étant soumise à l'influence d'un faisceau rayonnement divergent à faible section transversale, il peut arriver facilement qu'un des détecteurs qui doit mesurer une partie du rayonnement, ne remplisse pas convenablement sa fonction. Lors de la reconstruction de l'image d'absorption dans le plan du corps cela donne lieu à des phénomènes qui influencent très défavorablement le jugement de l'image par le médecin traitant. Par l'invention, on constate la présence éventuelle d'un détecteur défectueux (par exemple du fait de comparer les valeurs de mesure, fournies par chaque détecteur, aux valeurs de mesure des détecteurs voisins), tandis que les valeurs de mesure d'un détecteur dont on a constaté l'état défectueux sont remplacés par une valeur de correction pouvant être formée par interpolation des valeurs de mesure obtenues le long de voies de rayonnement voisines. Application à l'appareillage radioscopique utilisé en médecine.
