Abstract
L'invention concerne un procédé et un appareil permettant de mesurer le pourcentage de réduction du minerai de fer dans un réacteur de réduction d'un système de réduction gazeuse à réacteurs multiples. Selon un mode de réalisation préféré, on mesure en 38 le débit du gaz introduit dans le réacteur de réduction ainsi que sa composition (analyseurs 44 à 50) et on mesure en 52 le débit (débitmètre 54) et la composition (analyseurs 56 à 62) de l'effluent gazeux du réacteur après refroidissement Ces mesures sont introduites dans un ordinateur ainsi que le poids initial de la charge introduite dans le réacteur, la teneur en humidité de la charge et la teneur initiale en oxygène réductible de la charge. Le calculateur est programme de façon à calculer la vitesse d'élimination de l'oxygène de la charge, à intégrer la vitesse d'élimination par rapport au temps et à comparer l'intégrale à la teneur initiale en oxygène de la charge pour en évaluer son pourcentage de réduction, données qu'il fournit sur l'enregistreur indicateur 88.
