Abstract

L'invention concerne une substance luminescente halogénure complexe. Elle est représentée par la formule de composition suivante : (Me1-f ,Mgf )F2 .aMe'X2 .bKX'.cMe''SO4 :dEu**2+,eTb**3 où Me, Me' et Me" représentent chacun au moins un des métaux alcalino-terreux du groupe constitué par le baryum, le strontium et le calcium; X et X' représentent chacun au moins un des halogènes chlore et brome; et a, b, c, d, e et f sont des nombres définis par une des cinq combinaisons suivantes : 1. 0,80 <= a 1 <= 1,50, 0,10 <= b1 <= 1,50, c1 = 0, 0,001 <= d1 <= 0,20, e1 = 0 et f1 = 0. 2. 0,30 <= a2 <= 1,50, 0,10 <= b2 <= 2,00, 0,01 <= c2 <= 1,00, 0,001 <= d2 <= 0,20, c2 = 0 et f2 = 0. 3. a3 = 1, b3 = 0, c3 = 0, 0,01 <= d3 <= 0,10, 0 < e3 <= 0,05 et f3 = 0. 4. a4 = 1, b4 = 0, c4 = 0, 0,001 <= d4 <= 0,20, e4 = 0 et 0 < f4 = 1. 5. a5 = 1, 0 < b5 <= 1,5, c5 = 0, 0,001 <= d5 <= 0,20, e5 = 0 et 0 < f5 <= 1. Sur la figure, on a représenté le spectre d'émission d'une substance du type de la combinaison 1 lors d'une excitation par rayons X. Application à un convertisseur d'images de rayons X utilisant cette substance luminescente.
