Abstract

The tank is filled through a filling trunk which is fitted below the top cover plate of the tank. The valve is hinged about a pivot which is connected to an arm which carries a ball float at the end. The valve closes automatically when the tank is full. Any excess liquid above the closed valve drains into the tank through a bleed hole. The connecting ipe is fitted below the valve.
