Abstract

La présente invention concerne la photographie et, plus particulièrement, un procédé de préparation d'émulsions photosensibles aux halogénures d'argent Le procédé consiste à précipiter en continu des grains d'halogénures d'argent à partir d'un sel d'argent et d'un halogénure, en présence dun peptisant et d'un agent de maturation contenant du soufre ; la concentration de l'ion halogénure est réglée et maintenue à moins de 0,01 mole/litre; l'émulsion est éliminée de façon continue de la cuve de réaction au cours de sa formation. Application à l'obtention d'émulsions photosensibles aux halogénures d'argent dont la sensibilité est améliorée et qui contiennent des grains d'halogénure d'argent dont la répartition granulométrique est plus étroite et dont la forme est contrôlable.
