Abstract

L'invention concerne un joint perfectionné, notamment pour axes d'articulation de patins de véhicules chenillés. Ledit joint se compose d'une bague d'étanchéité primaire et d'une bague d'étanchéité secondaire qui coopèrent ensemble pour assurer l'étanchéité entre deux éléments tournant l'un par rapport à l'autre. Les deux bagues sont soumises à une compression axiale et radiale de manière à exclure l'eau et des particules abrasives tout en retenant un lubrifiant pour assurer un bon fonctionnement du mécanisme. Application à l'étanchéité des axes d'articulation des patins de véhicules chenillés.
