Abstract

Facing wall structure allows circulation of rising air in the cavity, between roof and ceiling. The inner and outer leaves are self-supporting, not requiring any reinforcement or intermediate support and the inner and outer facing panels are independent of each other and, together with the insulation used, have commercial dimensions not requiring recutting on site. Pref. the inner leaf consists of self-supporting asbestos cement panels attached to the outer leaf by means of Z-shaped galvanised brackets allowing casting on posts as a result of expansion, with a plastic joint cast at the juncture between two panels on the outer leaf.
