Abstract

The vertical column is enveloped with a ribbed shell and a hollow space is formed between the column and this shell. On the upper end of these columns are arranged inlet pipes for a heating or ventilating system. Outlets are provided at the lower end of the enclosing envelope. The heating or ventilating system has main ducts which are supported by the columns. The heating or ventilating system is not supported by the foundation but on the columns. These systems can be prefabricated and assembled on the columns.
