Abstract

1350180 Water towers M A JANHUNEN 12 Aug 1972 37705/72 Heading E1T A concrete water tower consists of a central tube 1, a reservoir part proper including top and bottom sector shaped plates 10, 3 interconnected by wall plates 6 and bracing means 2 which may be arranged as shown or extend to the ground, the plates 10 being centrally supported on a tube 8 supported in turn on the plates 3. The reservoir part proper may be strengthened by a circumferential-or radialarrangement of steel rods or wires and may be thermally lagged. The tower itself may be equipped with service fittings and the wall plates 6 be of arcuate configuration, see also Fig. 2 (not shown). (For Figure see next page)
