Abstract

The pneumatic vehicle jack has one or more of the pivot points of the levers or links adjustable in the lengthwise direction of the jack without moving the main parts of it in relation to each other. This allows adjustment of jack height in the rest position, before lifting the vehicle. The links (50) can each pivot at one end on the levers (48), which in turn pivot on the jack cylinder body (39), and at the other on the jack piston rod (41). The position of the link pivot point (60) is adjustable along the piston rod, without moving the latter, typically by a nut (61).
