1507769 Vehicle container side loading apparatus LYKA ENG AS 15 Sept 1976 [15 Sept 1975] 38222/76 Heading B8Q A trailer 1 has adjustably spaced side loading devices 3, 4 each having an arm 6 pivotally mounted at 7 on the opposite side to the loading side on a base 5 also pivotally mounting a supporting leg 12, at 13, which is swingable to to the operative position shown by a ram 15. The arm 6 has an extension 8, estendable by a ram, and is actuated by a ram 9 pivoted between a point 10 on the arm 6 and a point 14 on a port 11 of the leg 12 which in the operative position is outside the confines of the vehicle thus allowing a greater ram length and providing improved leverage.
