Abstract

Each dosing pump has a vertical cylindrical body (17) which contains the dosing volume (18). The cylinder houses the piston (19). The piston rod (19a) is sealed by means of the gland (23) held in the housing (22). The upward travel of the piston may be limited by adjusting the gland height (23). The piston is furnished with a rotary valve (30) in a housing (31). The rotary valve has an internal central supply passage which is opened to the cylinder and closed to the outlet. As the valve rotates the delivery passage connects the cylinder to the delivery duct.
