Abstract

Rubber boot comprises a lining of non-stretch material, which includes near the plane of symmetry of the boot a band of stretch material extending over a length sufficient to allow the boot to stretch so as to be removed from the mould, even when a non-retractable core is used. Pref. the band of stretch material is disposed beneath the foot at the centre of the insole and extends over the full height of the boot at the rear so as to allow positioning of the lining and removal of the boot from the mould, even when using a monobloc non-articulated core. Alter natively, the band may be provided at the front of the boot, extending as far as the sole at the sides of this front portion.
