Abstract

The ski boot comprises a rigid front section (5) which surrounds the sole. The upper supports the bottom of the leg and is partially hinged to the bottom part. The upper consists of a front, flexible sleeve (4) and a back, rigid spoiler part (6) hinged on an axis transverse to the shoe's lengthwise axis. At least one of the sides of the upper has a stiffener (10'), keeping the back edges (13', 13) of the flexible sleeve in contact with the front edges (14') of the rigid spoiler. Fasteners are in the form of studs and recesses.
