Abstract
1490219 Footwear soles ITS RUBBER Ltd 30 Oct 1975 [30 Sept 1974] 42451/74 Heading A3B A sole is of such a form that all of the toe area 12T of the upper surface of the sole is at a greater distance above the plane in which the arch supporting area 11A of the undersurface of the sole is disposed, than the heel area 12H and the heel area 11H of the undersurface is inclined relative to the plane. The heel and toe areas of the undersurface may be inclined at 14‹ and 8‹ respectively and the upper surface of the sole at 5‹ relative to the plane. The undersurface of the sole may be provided with ribs 14 extending substantially transversely to a median line (A, A 1 ) (Fig. 2 not shown). The sole may also be provided with cavities and be moulded in natural rubber, P.V.C., thermoplastic rubber or a polyurethane rubber.
