Abstract

The turbine shaft has a power take off unit at one end and a turbine output rotor at the opposite end. The single stage compressor is arranged between the output and the turbine on a housing. The compressor unit consists of a number of peripherically spaced first and second conical diffusor tubes arranged inside a first and a second coiled casing. The casings have corresponding combustion chambers leading to the opposite sides of a combustion chamber housing. The turbine rotor consists of a number of discs having an inner and an outer periphery which together with distance sleeves form annular openings for the gas flow. The discs are of pref. high temperature ceramic material e.g. silicon nitrate.
