Abstract
The engine includes a rotor (100) for discharging combustion products from one or more combustion chambers (1) in a substantially tangential direction to rotate the rotor (100), which latter drives compressor (4) supplying air to the combustion chamber or chambers (1) and may also drive a power output shaft (2).The compressor can be of centrifugal centripetal or axial flow type. A fan 16 may be provided. Numerous modifications are described. <IMAGE>
