Abstract

In providing insulation at the outer wall edges of concrete slabs. In the ceilings or residential buildings, resting on storey-high walls, the process is used for the necessary sheathing. The form sheathing consists of insulation panels (3) made of foamed plastic, set on the outside edge of the wall (1). An inner ceiling sheat is formed, and the ceiling concrete is filled in, so as to extend on the wall to the inner walling of the slabs, between projecting reinforcing ribs (4) on these. The top edge of the panel is then brought into flush alignment with the top edge of the concrete ceiling, by corresp level setting of the inner ceiling sheathing, or by cutting away the panels' top edge. The insulating panels may be nailed onto the wall, and aligned so as to lie flush on the outside.
