Abstract

The greenhouse is heated by means of water circulating through pipes buried in the ground. these run under both the cultivated and the non-cultivated areas, the latter forming a reserve of heat for use during the night. solar panels heat the water, this being collected in a header tank and provided with temperature control. An electric pump circulates the water, circuit control valves being provided. A radiator is fitted in the roof space, a fan being used to blow air over coils heated by water from the same circuit. this gives space heating if sudden low temperatures are encountered.
