Abstract

Sole, for use in light athletics in particular, has a front half consisting of an inner intermediate layer of hard plastic material with spikes and embedded in a layer of more flexible polymer, and spikes projecting from one of the flat surfaces; the first and dinner layer is shaped to the front half and has a coarse lattice structure, with the crossing points points projecting and holding the spikes. Soles are suitable for shoes for use on artificial tracks, having good performance, flexibility, and good contact with the track.
