Abstract

A first load resistor is connected between the collector of a power transistor and the positive supply terminal. The emitter of the transistor is connected to the negative terminal of the devie. A control transistor controls the threshold voltage of the power transistor. When the voltage falls below a determined value the base of the control transistor is connected through a Zener diode to an adjustable voltage divider. A second Zener diode is included between the voltage divider and the (-) terminal of the device. A diode chain links the control point of the voltage divider and the first Zener diode.
