Abstract

The equipment is for the hydrodynamic cleaning of the interior of a vessel, esp. polymerisation reactors. It has a central support rotating or rocking about an axis and carrying three or more arms extending at regular intervals from it. Each arm has a jet at the tip, from which the cleaning liq. is ejected, this being delivered to each jet. A drive rotates or rocks the support on its axis. The arms can be swung into set positions either leading or trailing a plane perpendicular to the axis of rotation. The arms can be evenly spaced round the support.
