Abstract

Isothermic safety package for dangerous or fragile products comprises a box in one or more parts made of lightweight cheap material, pref. expanded polystyrene or thick cardboard, corrugated cardboard, fibrous cardboard or material with similar properties. Safety packing elements of strong material are positioned in the box so as to receive and hold the contents of the package. The packing elements pref. consist of two thin panels of heat-shapable plastic which are applied to two opposed inner surfaces of the box and which are held in place by lugs or extensions held in recesses or slots in the box. Alternatively the packing may consist of a single U-shaped thin panel which is applied to two opposed inner surfaces and the bottom of the box.
