Abstract

A rectangular carton has a lid (1b) which folds over a base (1b), connected to each other by a narrow hinge panel (13). The sides are made by folding up similar panels (6a, 8a) for the base and two more (6b, 8b) for the lid, and also end panels (7, 9). Lid and base have corner tabs (25 to 28) which fold over at the ends of the end panels. Two more tabs (19, 20) fold over from the side panels (6a, 8a) of the base (1a) to close against the hinge panel (13). Diagonal lines (40, 41) are scored in the end panel (9) of the base and similarly (38, 38) in the lid. Further diagonal lines (34, 35 and 32, 33) are scored in the base and lid.
