Abstract

The transporter trailer (1) has a vertical, cylindrical container slung between its frame members, and open to the top and bottom, or closed by non secured lids. The explosives are slung inside the cylinder in a net (13), with the cylinder fitted with blast absorbing walls in replaceable segments (14). The trailer is used to transport suspect bombs with a maximum of safety. It is fitted with a long tow bar (3) and the loosely fitting lid (19) is hauled over the cylinder by a remote operated wire (17) and guidance rails.
