Abstract

The corner piece is used for joining the edges of panels. Modifications allow three, four or more panels to be joined together and secured by transverse reinforcement panels. The corner section consists of a spine carrying two flanges (11) at any angle, with the outside faces joined by another face (15) at right angles to the bisector of the angle. On the interior, two abutments (13) extends from the flanges at right angles. The flanges carry pegs (12) to locate the panels (16), and a hole (14) is drilled through the spine so that two of the corner pieces may be bolted back to back for a four-panel-joint. The bolt is also retains cap sections which fix the panels if transverse reinforcing panels are not fitted.
