Abstract

The frame is for use in the building industry, and allows standard prefabricated floors and roofs to be used without the need for erecting joist/rafters over the cross-beams. The frame consists of steel or concrete columns (1) arranged at right-angles, the uprights being linked together by a beam (B1) having a rectilinear section (2) enclosed by two diagonal sections (3, 4), the ends of which are attached to the two uprights. Two adjacent beams are placed so that the two diagonal sections can be riveted or bolted together.
