Abstract

The lighter consists of a casing which forms the gas reservoir. The gas pressure reducer (50, 51, 52) consists of a movable regulator (21) which is screwed into the casing. It is connected to the pressure controller which can turn against a shoulder through a distance piece. The section of the stem of the distance piece is square inside the square sleeve (27) so that the regulator can be screwed in or out. Gas pressure is reduced by passing through the fixed orifices (50, 51) and through the filter (52). The pressure drop across the filter is regulated by the pressure on it.
