Abstract

The wall panel has two outer bearing sheets (11, 12) which are of equal size and parallel to each other. Between them is a sheet (13) of compressible, heat-proof and sound proof material. The sandwiched layer of insulating material (13) overlaps by a few millimetres all round the edges of the two outer sheets (11, 12) The three sheets (11, 12, 13) are firmly held in place by four metal link-pieces positioned in pairs (14) on each of the two parallel side surfaces of the wall-section. Each flexible metal link (14) is U-shaped, with each end bent back on itself, and rectangular in cross-section.
