Abstract

The packing case is made of cardboard and has bottom flaps, fixed together to provide a rigid base. The longitudinal outer flaps (12) have several tabs (16), arranged in parallel rows and spaced over each flap surface. These tabs are formed by two side incisions and another perpendicularly between them. An I shaped cutout follows the line of this third incision. Each tab folds out on its remaining side. Lengths of cardboard are folded to a U-shape (32), their sides having slots (30). These engage the slots (20) on the folded out tabs. Runners are formed, raising the case for the use of a forklift.
