Abstract

The cable's sealed feed-through, for junction boxes and similar, has a first collar around the cable at the point where it passes through the hole in the junction box's wall. A hollow bolt (d) with an externally threaded shaft (13) passes through the hole so that its head rests on the left of the wall and its hollow shaft passes over the collar on the right of the wall. An elastic sealing ring (14) is compressed between the sloping inner surface of the bolt (just behind its head to the left of the wall (10)) and the sloping end of the collar by means of an outer ring nut (15) whose internal thread mates with the bolt's thread.
