Abstract

The device is used to keep prepared foot hot or cold, as required. It is portable and mounted on a four legged stand (7) to eliminate the need for an insulated supporting surface. A deep dish (5) fits inside the stand, being supported by its flange (6) resting on the stand rim. Ice or dry ice is placed in the dish; alternatively, steam is produced by water heated by burners underneath. A tray (3) rests inside the dish, its bottom above the ice or water contents. The food (10) is placed inside this dish and protected by a thermally insulating cover (1) until required for use.
