Abstract

The double walled bottle for storing pressurised liquids comprises two concentric containers, the inner being used to hold the liquid and the outer having strengthened walls. The ends of the containers are separated by inserts conforming to their profiles, the inner container receiving a plug at its neck. The plug has two cylindrical portions joined by a conical portion which has a half angle of between 15 deg. and 60 deg. The insert at the open end of the bottle projects from the outer container and ahs a recess in which is received the outer cylindrical plug portion. The plug also has a radial flange at its outer end.
