Abstract

A first frame section consists of two separate elements, the first one being an angle-bar with a back (1) and a base (2) the end of which is bent back on itself to form a double thickness (3), a second one being a strip (4), the inside edge of which forms a loop (5) and a return (6). The base (2), the strip (4) and the return (6) have holes drilled in them at intervals so that they can be correctly aligned and attached to the original frame (8) by means of screws (9). The second section is a right-angled element, the base(10) of which is bent back on itself to form a double thickness (11) and the arm (12) is wider than the back (1) of the first piece. The base (10) and the double thickness (11) of this second section are inserted between the two parallel elements (2, 4) of the first section once the double glazing is in place.
