Abstract
A solar energy collector device having a lower layer which absorbs solar energy and also supports the heat transfer circulation system and which has a light transmitting, heat insulating top cover layer, has the lower layer constructed as flat heat absorbing plastic hollow profile section. The heat transfer medium can then circulate within the hollow sections of the plastic profile. The cover layer which permits through flow of solar illumination has a series of hollow glass components.
