Abstract

The machine is mounted on wheels and has a central inclined tube in which a screw conveyor is mounted. The screw conveyor is supported at one end in a sliding bearing and at the other on a hexagonal drive shaft fitted inside the shaft of the screw. The screw is motor driven. The inclined tube is made from two semicircular section pieces hinged together along one side. The lower part is fitted to a frame, and the upper part forms a lid. The upper part can be moved longitudinally on the hinges relative to the lower part, and the exposed length of conveyor screw within the container can be adjusted.
