Abstract

A control device for a surface heating system, partic. for floor heating which is supplied without water and in which the circulation temperature is maintained constant. A device (13) maintains a constant pressure difference between the heat inlet pipe (2) lying behind the circulating pump (1) and the heat return pipe (3). A temperature sensor (13) is situated in the flow of water in the heat return pipe (3) and a control valve (13) operated by the sensor (13) is inserted between the inlet (2) and return (3) pipes. This valve (13) operates such that it is opened when the return (3) pipe temperature falls and closes as the return pipe (3) temperature rises.
