Abstract

PURPOSE:To make it possible to adjust correctly the temperarure of bath hot water without agitating the hot water by a method wherein the operation of a heater is controlled on the base of the condition of temperature distribution throughout a bathtub detected by thermosensers provided on the inner wall of the bathtub and within heat exchange pipes, respectively. CONSTITUTION:In a device in which water is heated by a heating medium (hot water) supplied from a double pipe type boiler BL through the heater BH provided in a heating chamber adjacent the bathtub BT, the thermosensers TSA, TSB and TSC are provided on the inner wall of the bathtub TB and within the upper and lower heat exchange pipes connecting the bathtub BT and the heating chamber. The outputs of the thermosensers TSA-TSC are transmitted to a control device CPU together with the output of a water level senser WS. With the above arrangement, the operation time of the titled adjusting device is calculated on the base of the difference between the temperatures at the inlet and the outlet of the heat exchange pipe passage detected by the thermosensers TSB and TSC and a pump P and an electromagnetic valve EV are stopped through the output signal of the CPU to thereby stop the operation of the heater BH.
