Abstract

A front wheel suspension system for a road vehicle has a cross member mounted on the body or chassis to support wheel suspension arms. Each end of the cross member is mounted by two flexible supports. One support of each pair is mounted at the end of the cross member, and comprises a vertical flexible bushing. The other support of each pair is mounted at the end of a sideways extension of the end of the cross member, and comprises a horizontal flexible bushing.
